Action Awards are intended to recognize:
- CLIENTS who have made outstanding progress toward self-sufficiency
- SUPPORTERS, such as donors, board members, or other volunteers (not staff) who have gone above and beyond the ordinary for community action.
Certificates will be presented during the Luncheon, 12:00 noon, Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Please note that this year’s Action Awards will be presented during the Wednesday Luncheon.
More than one nominee per agency is allowed. Although we encourage agencies to arrange, if possible, that their nominees be present at the conference award ceremony during the Luncheon, it is not a requirement of the nomination. In the case of recipients who are unable to attend, their certificates will be sent back with the agency. Action award nominations are due by April 29.
