To kick off the 2019 Fall Family Development Credential (FDC) program, all students are encouraged to attend the “Adopting a Whole Family Approach” (see here) on Monday, October 21, from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. FDC instruction will commence on Thursday, October 31, from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., followed by Friday, November 1, from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The remaining FDC classes will be held on the following dates:
November 8, 15, 22
December 6, 13, 20
January 10, 17, 24, 31
February 7 • February 14 – Exam Date
FDC Applications were emailed to all agency executive directors on Thursday, September 5. A copy of the application can also be downloaded here. Interested agencies are asked to please submit names and titles of those who will be enrolling in the next FDC class to ACAAA Programs & Development Director Tamerdis Baker via email at email@example.com as soon as possible, no later than October 7. Applications can be submitted to the same address to the attention of Ms. Baker; applications are due by October 7.
The fee for this course is $775, which includes a copy of the “Empowerment Skills for Family Workers” student manual and lunch for each class meeting. There is a limit of 12 students for this class.
